Baigali was born in 1958 in Almaty (Kazakhstan). He is a son of Honored Artist of USSR – opera singer (baritone) Ermek Serkebayev.

Graduated from Conservatory named after Kurmangazy (Almaty) as a classical piano player.

After Conservatory Baigali worked in “Arai” Band with lead singer Rosa Rymbayeva (one of the most popular Kazakh pop singer). In 1982 Band was renamed to “A-Studio”.

The talent of Baigaly as a great piano player, composer, arranger and producer along with Band’s perfect skilled musicians, Band’s numerous gigs, participation in music festivals and huge discography made “A-Studio” be one of the most respected and famous bands not only in Kazakhstan and CIS countries but also worldwide.
