Yamaha Music Gulf FZE is voluntarily recalling its YAMAHA PA-300C AC Power Adaptor (“Adaptor”) manufactured between July 2010 and May 2012. It has come to our attention that the AC adaptors PA-300C bundled with our products, as well as some standalone AC adaptors designed for the same products, may exhibit instances of abnormal heat with the DC plug of the adaptor, potentially leading to smoke or ignite emission.

Should you be utilizing an affected AC adaptor, we urge you to promptly disconnect it from both household outlets and the product, discontinue its usage, and reach to our authorized distributor service centre in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). We are committed to replacing the AC adaptor at absolutely no cost to you.

Even if your affected AC adaptor currently shows no signs of malfunction, we advise proactive replacement to ensure continued peace of mind. Rest assured, the issue lies solely with the affected AC adaptor and not with the product itself.

We deeply regret any inconvenience this situation may cause you and assure you of our dedication to rectifying it swiftly. Moving forward, we pledge to reinforce our quality control measures to prevent such occurrences in the future, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

CONSUMERS SHOULD IMMEDIATELY STOP USING THE YAMAHA PA-300C AC POWER ADAPTOR AND CONTACT YAMAHA FOR A FREE REPLACEMENT.

Please follow below steps to make sure you are correctly identifying the model and affected AC adaptor:

Step 2: Confirm the product name and serial number. In some cases, this adaptor was provided as a standalone unit, while in others, it was integrated into the product.

Note: Please understand that there are no issues with the product – ONLY ADAPTOR IS AFEFCTED

Please refer to the table below to determine whether the adaptor was supplied as a standalone unit or integrated into the product. The relevant model numbers and corresponding serial numbers have been provided to assist with easy identification.

Here are instructions to read the serial number mentioned:

The 1st digit “ * “ is any alphabet character.
The 4th digit “ * “ is an any alphabet.
The other “ □ ” are numbers.

A. Models that include the applicable PA-300C as a standalone adaptor:
There are some models for which the PA-300C adaptor was packaged together with the product. Please follow below model list and relevant product serial number for you to identify. Once the serial number is confirmed, please move to Step 3.

B. Models that have a built-in PA-300C adaptor:
In addition, the PA-300C AC Power Adaptor was built-in to certain YAMAHA CLAVINOVA CLP Series and CVP Series digital pianos, listed below. Once the serial number is confirmed, please move to Step 3.

C. If you have purchased PA-300C as a standalone adaptor:
In case you have purchased only PA-300C adaptor, then confirm model, efficiency level and serial number details using below instructions. Once the details are confirmed, please move to Step 3.

• If your adaptor is not a PA-300C model or if it is a PA-300C model but does not meet all the above criteria, your adaptor is not part of this voluntary recall. You may continue to use your adaptor with the appropriate Yamaha product.
• If your adaptor is a PA-300C model and meets all the above criteria, please follow the steps below to get your free replacement adaptor.

Step 3: Contact our authorized distributor service centre in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). We are committed to replacing the AC adaptor at no cost to you.
